- Peel the yam and cut into tiny pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan, add turmeric, salt, chilli powder and cumin powder.
- Add chopped yam pieces and fry it in a medium flame.
- Stir it occasionally ,cover it and cook for 3 mins.
- Roast it till it reaches golden brown.
- Serve it hot with rice and meals.
