Ingredients:

Bread-4 slices

Carrot-1

Cucumber-1

Tomato-1

Cabbage-100gms

Coriander leaves

Butter-200gms

Cheese-200gms

Salt

Pepper


 

Preparation method:

  1. Grated the carrot like ribbons.
  2. Slice the tomatoes and cucumber.
  3. Finely chop the coriander and cabbage.
  4. Heat butter in a pan , place the bread and roast it one side.
  5. Add cheese on the top and allow to melt evenly on the bread.
  6. Add chopped cabbage sprinkle pepper and salt
  7. Add carrot ribbons, sprinkle pepper and salt
  8. Add sliced tomatoes, sprinkle pepper and salt
  9. Add sliced cucumbers and coriander leaves.
  10. Sprinkle pepper and salt.
  11. Add grated cheese and close it with the cheese side from the other bread slice.
  12. Sandwich is ready!

Wheat Dosaiis south Indian dish usually prepared For the dinner. It is very easy to prepare, no need For the fermentation, it is an instant dosa. This batter is slightly different from normal dosa batter. It is made in wheat flour, instead of making roti’s; you can try this thin crispy dosa. This dosa well goes with kurma, any chutney and sambar. _______________________________________________________________________________

Ingredients

Wheat flour – 2 cup
Rice flour – 2 Tablespoon
Butter-2 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Oil

Preparation method

  1. Take wheat flour and rice flour in a bowl
  2. Add salt, butter and mix it well
  3. Add water and stir it well, to avoid lumps.
  4. Prepare the batter for the dosa consistency neither thick nor watery.
  5. Heat the pan and pour a ladle of batter and spread it like a normal dosa. Sprinkle few drops of oil.
  6. Once it’s cooked and golden brown in colour flip it over to the other side.
  7. Sprinkle few drops of oil to get a crispy dosa.
  8. Remove from the pan once it turns to golden brown and cooked well.
  9. Serve it hot with coconut chutney or tomato chutney.

Ingredients:

Eggs-6

Salt to taste

Oil

 

For the Tempering / Tadka:

Cumin seeds-1/2tsp

Cinnamon-2

Cloves-2

Cardamom-1

Bayleaf-1

Curry leaves

 

For the Sauté:

Onions-2 medium

Green chillies-2 medium

Garlic-6 cloves -1/2 tsp. paste

Ginger -2 inch cube-1/2 tsp. paste

Tomatoes- 2 medium (make it puree)

 

Spices Used:

Turmeric – 1/2tsp

Cumin powder-1/2tsp

Chilli powder-1tsp

Coriander powder-2tsp

Garam masala-1/2 tsp

 

Garnishing

Fresh Coriander – 1/3 bunches


Preparation method:

  1. Boil the eggs, make  slits and keep it aside
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin and curry leaves.
  3. Add Chopped onions and green chillies and sauté it
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and fry it.
  5. Add tomato puree and the spices with the salt
  6. When the oil floats at the top, add the eggs and mix it well
  7. Cover it and cook it For the 9 mins in a low flame.
  8. Add the crushed pepper and mix it well.
  9. Garnish with Fresh coriander and serve it hot with rice or roti.

Peanuts-1 cup

Red chillies-4

Tamarind-aamla size

Salt to taste

 

For the Tadka:

Mustard-1/2 tsp

Urad dal-1/2 tsp

Curry leaves-2 spring

Oil


Preparation method:

  1. Dry roast the peanuts and red chillies.
  2. Add it to a blender with tamarind and salt.
  3. Make a fine paste by adding water.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, urad dal, curry leaves
  5. Once they splutter add it to the chutney.
  6. Serve it with hot idly or dosa.

Ingredients

Boneless chicken -500gms
Onions-2 medium
Green chillies-2
Turmeric -1/2 tsp
Salt to tatse
Oil

For the tempering

Cinnamon-2
Cloves-4
Cumin-1/4 tsp
Fennel seeds-1/4 tsp
Curry leaves-1 sprig

For the grinding:

Peppercorns -1/2tsp
Cumin-1/2tsp
Ginger small size – 1
Garlic cloves -6
Curry Leaves- 2 Sprig


Preparation method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add cinnamon, cloves,fennel seeds and cumin seeds.
  2. Once they spluttered add chopped onions and green chillies, sauté it.
  3. Add chicken pieces , turmeric, salt and mix it well.
  4. Sprinkle water, cover it and cook for 20 mins in a medium flame.
  5. Add freshly ground ginger, garlic, curry leaves, cumin, peppercorns and mix it well.
  6. Cook it for 10 mins in medium flame uncovered .
  7. Add cooked rice and sprinkle sesame oil and mix it well.
  8. When its done add lemon juice, garnish it with coriander leaves.
  9. Serve it hot with raita, pickle and papad.

Plantain stem-250 gms

Roasted Gram-100gms

Green chillies-4

Garlic-2(optional)

  1. Clean the plantain stem and cut into small cubes.
  2. Take coconut pieces, plantain stem roasted gram, green chillies, garlic and salt.
  3. Add it to a blender and make a fine paste by adding water.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, urad dal, curry leaves
  5. Once they splutter add it to the chutney.
  6. Serve it with hot idly or dosa.
