Onion soup Sandwich


Ingredients

Bread-4 slices
Onions-2
fresh thyme leaves-tsp
Sugar-1 pinch
Chicken /Veg stock- 2tbsp
Sea Salt to taste
Black Pepper for seasoning
Butter – 2 tbsp
Olive oil-2 tbsp


Preparation method

  1. Heat a pan, add butter and olive oil.
  2. Add the onions and saute it until its softened.
  3. Add salt, thyme and pepper stir it well.
  4. Cook the onions until its caramelized.
  5. Add the stock and mix it well.boil it and simmer for few mins.
  6. when the water evaporates and it looks like a onion jam remove it.
  7. Butter one side of each slice of bread. On the other side, top with onion mixture.
  8. Top with more cheese and the final piece of sandwich bread.
  9. Repeat process in assembling the other sandwich.
  10. Heat butter in a pan and cook sandwiches over medium heat.
  11. Flip and cook until golden brown.
  12. Serve it hot immediately.

English breakfast may begin with orange juice, cereals, stewed or fresh fruits but the heart of the Full breakfast is bacon and eggs. They are variously accompanied by sausages, grilled tomato, mushrooms, tea, toast and marmalade.Each one have their individual preferences in addition to this.

wholegrain bread -2
Fried Bread-2
Sausages -2
Baked Beans – 1 tin
Eggs-2
Orange Juice
Coffee or tea
Fresh fruits
Marmalade
Butter
Curd(optional)
Jam(optional)
Bacon fried
Black pudding(optional)
Olive oil
Salt and Pepper to taste


Preparation method

  1. Heat  oil in a pan, place the sausages and cook it all sides evenly until it turns to golden brown for 12 to 15 mins.
  2. While cooking sausages, place the tomatoes cut into half and roast it with the sausages.
  3. Heat butter in  a pan and place the mushrooms and toss it ,season with salt and pepper. if you prefer bacon place it  and fry it.
  4. In a saucepan add the beans in a medium heat and stir it frequently.
  5. Heat a tsp of oil in a pan, pour the egg at the corner of the pan and pour the water on the other side bring to boil,when the eggs are half boiled remove it and place it.
  6. At the same time, melt a tsp of butter on the griddle pan, lay the bread  and cook until crisp, about 1 min each side. fried bread is ready.
  7. Toast the bread and spread the butter over the toast evenly and place it.
  8. Arrange sausage,mushroom, tomatoes, fried bread ,toast,beans,egg in a warm plate.
  9. Serve it immediately with orange juice, fresh fruits and coffee/tea.Enjoy!

Spring onions-3
Peas-250 gms
Salt and Pepper to taste
Olive oil


Preparation method

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add the chicken pieces and cook until it turns to golden brown.
  2. Add the minced garlic and saute it.
  3. Add the chicken stock, peas and cook for few mins until peas are tender and softened.
  4. Add chopped spring onions, seasoning and cook for 3 mins.
  5. Serve it hot immediately.

Potatoes-250gms
Onion-1(optional)
Garlic cloves-3
paprika-1/2 tsp
Salt and Pepper to taste


Preparation method

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes.
  2. Boil it in the salted water, filter it and keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onions and saute it.
  4. Add the minced garlic and saute it for few secs.
  5. Add the potato cubes and fry it until it turns to golden brown on all sides.
  6. Sprinkle paprika and garnish it with parsley or cilantro and serve it hot.

Milk-1/2 cup
Cinnamon-1 tsp
Brown Sugar-1 tsp
Butter
Apple-1


Preparation method

  1. Whisk the eggs together with the milk.
  2. Dip one slice of bread into egg mixture.
  3. Heat butter in a pan and place the bread.
  4. Cook over medium heat until browned on either side.
  5. Remove from pan and sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture.
  6. Garnish it with chopped apples and serve it.

  2. Heat the oil and butter in a large heavy baking dish over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken pieces and saute it until it turns to golden brown on all sides.Remove and keep it aside.
  4. Saute the onions in the same pan until its softened.
  5. Add the chicken stock, seasoning and stir it well.
  6. Add the chicken and peas and cook it for few mins until the peas is tender.
  7. Check the seasoning and serve it warm.

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add onions and saute it.
  2. Add the chopped potatoes and cook until its softened.

  4. Whisk the eggs in a bowl add the potato mixture and stir it well.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and pour the mixture spreading evenly and cook it in a low flame.
  6. Once it cooked,set a large plate over the skillet and carefully invert onto the plate.
  7. Cut into wedges and serve warm.

White Vinegar-1/4 cup
Sugar-3tbsp
Fresh Parsley
Bacon-4 (fried and crumbled optional)

Salt and Pepper to taste


Preparation method

  1. Boil the potatoes, peeled and diced into small cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions to golden brown.
  3. Add the vinegar, sugar salt and pepper with little bit of water.
  4. Add the potato cubes and mix it well
  5. Add the chopped parsley.
  6. Add the fried bacon crumbles and serve it warm.

Chicken Schnitzel is a boneless meat, thinned with a meat tenderizer, coated with flour, beaten eggs and bread crumbs, and then fried. A popular food in many countries, it is made from veal, chicken, beef, turkey, or pork.In German-speaking countries, the term Schnitzel means escalopes (cutlets), not just bread crumbed, fried escalopes such as Wiener Schnitzel.


Ingredients

Chicken Breasts -2
eggs-2
All purpose flour-1/2 cup
Bread Crumbs-1 cup
Dried herbs (thyme, basil, rosemary or fresh)-2 tbsp
Salt and Pepper to taste
Olive oil


Preparation method

  1. Cut each chicken breast in half and place between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound them evenly with a butcher’s mallet until they are 1/8 of an inch thick.
  2. Season with salt and fresh cracked black pepper.
  3. Whisk the eggs and keep it aside.
  4. Mix the chopped herbs with the bread crumbs.
  5. Lightly coat each piece with all purpose flour.
  6. Dip each piece in the egg wash and then coat each piece with the herbed bread crumbs.
  7. Heat a pan to medium heat and fry the chicken in olive oil for 3 minutes per side.
  8. Serve with a potato mash and salad.

Homemade Chicken Sausage

Ingredients

Boneless chicken-300gms
Chilli Flakes-1/2 tsp
Parsley flakes-1/2 tsp
Oregano-1/2 tsp
Pepper-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste


Preparation method

  1. Cut the chicken into cubes  and place it in a food processor.
  2. Add parsley, chilli flakes, oregano, pepper, 1 tsp. salt and combine well.
  3. Blend chicken until it has all been taken apart and is a fine paste.
  4. Roll the chicken paste mixture into sausages.
  5. Cover with foil and steam cook it for 12-15 mins.
  6. Once its cooled, remove the foil and place the sausages in the refrigerator and use it as needed.
