Breaded cauliflower

Breaded Cauliflower-is a traditional German vegetable recipe.Tender bits of cauliflower are battered and deep-fried. Great for appetizers.This is very simple and easy to prepare.Excellent side dish for any meal.


Ingredients

Cauliflower -1
Eggs-2
Flour -1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Breadcrumbs – 1 cup
oil


Preparation method

  1. Clean and cut the florets to medium size.
  2. Blanch them in a hot water for a min
  3. In a bowl, beat eggs slightly with a whisk, slowly adding a little flour at a time.
  4. Don’t make it too hot, it will burn the crumbs.
  5. You want a thick enough batter to cling to the cauliflower.
  6. If you have made it too thick,add milk to get the right consistency
  7. Add salt and pepper  to the batter.
  8. Coat each cauliflower in the batter, then in the bread crumbs.
  9. Then proceed to put them in your preheated oil to fry.
  10. Fry them till it turn to brown all sides.
  11. Serve it hot with sauce.

Ingredients

 

Bread – 6 slices

Salt to tatse

Oil

 

For the tempering/tadka

Mustard-1/2 tsp

Urad dal-1/2 tsp

Chana dal-1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp

Peanuts-1 tsp

Curry leave-2 sprig

 

For the sauté:

Onion-2 medium

Green chillies-3 slitted

Ginger -1 inch

Tomatoes-2 medium

Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

Coriander powder

Hing-2 pinch


 

Preparation method:

 

  1. Soak the bread in water For the 2 mins and squeeze it, crush it and keep aside
  2. Heat oil in a pan add tempering spices.
  3. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions, green chillies, ginger and sauté it.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes, spices, salt and cook it For the few minutes.
  5. Add the bread crumbs and stir well.
  6. Garnish it with coriander leaves and sprinkle lemon juice and mix it well
  7. Serve it hot with baji.

Sandwich-Egg Omlette

Ingredient:

Butter-50 gms

Cheese-100gms(optional)

Tomato-1

Onion-1

Green chillies-2

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Corander leaves-1 sprig

Eggs-4

Bread-2


Preparation method

 

  1. Heat butter in a pan , add chopped onions, tomatoes and gren chillies and sauté it.
  2. Add salt, turmeric, pepper powder and coriander leaves and sauté it.
  3. Pour the whisked egg, and spread like a  omelette.
  4. Cook it in low flame For the few mins.
  5. place the breads on one sid and close it with the other half omelette.
  6. Sprinkle cheese and again close it with the other half .
  7. Press it gently. You can see 7 layer bread omelette sandwich.

Onion soup Sandwich


Ingredients

Bread-4 slices
Onions-2
fresh thyme leaves-tsp
Sugar-1 pinch
Chicken /Veg stock- 2tbsp
Sea Salt to taste
Black Pepper for seasoning
Butter – 2 tbsp
Olive oil-2 tbsp


Preparation method

  1. Heat a pan, add butter and olive oil.
  2. Add the onions and saute it until its softened.
  3. Add salt, thyme and pepper stir it well.
  4. Cook the onions until its caramelized.
  5. Add the stock and mix it well.boil it and simmer for few mins.
  6. when the water evaporates and it looks like a onion jam remove it.
  7. Butter one side of each slice of bread. On the other side, top with onion mixture.
  8. Top with more cheese and the final piece of sandwich bread.
  9. Repeat process in assembling the other sandwich.
  10. Heat butter in a pan and cook sandwiches over medium heat.
  11. Flip and cook until golden brown.
  12. Serve it hot immediately.

English breakfast may begin with orange juice, cereals, stewed or fresh fruits but the heart of the Full breakfast is bacon and eggs. They are variously accompanied by sausages, grilled tomato, mushrooms, tea, toast and marmalade.Each one have their individual preferences in addition to this.

Mushrooms -6
Tomatoes-2
wholegrain bread -2
Fried Bread-2
Sausages -2
Baked Beans – 1 tin
Eggs-2
Orange Juice
Coffee or tea
Fresh fruits
Marmalade
Butter
Curd(optional)
Jam(optional)
Bacon fried
Black pudding(optional)
Olive oil
Salt and Pepper to taste


Preparation method

  1. Heat  oil in a pan, place the sausages and cook it all sides evenly until it turns to golden brown for 12 to 15 mins.
  2. While cooking sausages, place the tomatoes cut into half and roast it with the sausages.
  3. Heat butter in  a pan and place the mushrooms and toss it ,season with salt and pepper. if you prefer bacon place it  and fry it.
  4. In a saucepan add the beans in a medium heat and stir it frequently.
  5. Heat a tsp of oil in a pan, pour the egg at the corner of the pan and pour the water on the other side bring to boil,when the eggs are half boiled remove it and place it.
  6. At the same time, melt a tsp of butter on the griddle pan, lay the bread  and cook until crisp, about 1 min each side. fried bread is ready.
  7. Toast the bread and spread the butter over the toast evenly and place it.
  8. Arrange sausage,mushroom, tomatoes, fried bread ,toast,beans,egg in a warm plate.
  9. Serve it immediately with orange juice, fresh fruits and coffee/tea.Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Bread-6 Slices

Chilli powder-1 tsp

Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

Hing-1/4 tsp

Garlic paste-1/2 tsp

Gram flour-1/2 cup

Salt to taste

Oil


Preparation method:

Cut the bread slices lengthvise or diagonalwise.

Add chilli powder, garlic paste, turmeric, hing, salt  to the gram flour.

Add water and mix it to a dosa batter consistency.

Heat oil in a pan.

Put bread slices in the batter and deep fry it in the oil.

Add few at times and cook in a medium flame.

Serve it hot with coconut chutney or chilli sauce.

Ingredients

Bread-4 slices
Eggs-3
Milk-1/2 cup
Cinnamon-1 tsp
Brown Sugar-1 tsp
Butter
Apple-1


Preparation method

  1. Whisk the eggs together with the milk.
  2. Dip one slice of bread into egg mixture.
  3. Heat butter in a pan and place the bread.
  4. Cook over medium heat until browned on either side.
  5. Remove from pan and sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture.
  6. Garnish it with chopped apples and serve it.

  2. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions, green chillies, ginger, salt and sauté it.
  3. Add the vermicelli and water (1:2 ratios) and stir well.
  4. Cover it and cook For the 5 min in a low flame.
  5. Add the scramble egg and stir it well.
  6. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot with chutney.

Ingredient:

Butter-50 gms

Cheese-100gms

Salt to taste

Pepper to tatste

Egg tiny omlette-2


Peparation method

 

  1. Take bread, apply the butter evenly.
  2. Add cheese slices on the top.
  3. Add the egg tiny omelettes on top of the cheese, sprinkle pepper and salt.
  4. Cover it with the other bread cheese slice side.
  5. Egg sandwich is ready.
